Izabela is an artist, illustrator and writer based in London. Izabela graduated with a MA in Magazine Journalism from City University London in 2016, and soon after began working for the British Journal of Photography. There, she worked her way up to become Editor-in-Chief, the first female editor in the publication’s 168-year history.
In 2023, Izabela decided to leave the magazine to pursue her personal creative practice in art and illustration. She is currently working towards an MA in Illustration at University of the Arts London: Camberwell College of Arts, which she will complete in December 2025. Her style and practice is still evolving, but she often turns to themes of movement, memory, identity and the sense of self, empowerment, sport and the human figure as the inspiration behind her work.
